Gateway Hunger Relief Center is located at 715 Sheridan Street (The Old Commons Lumber Building).

How We Serve

Food Assistance- Clients can visit twice a month on Tuesday and Friday 10am-12pm hours.

Clients need to bring proof of address (such as a piece of mail with your name and address)is required.

Women’s Wellness Initiative- Provides essential items and support specifically for women in need.

This program includes:

• Feminine Hygiene Products – Distributed once a month to ensure access to essential personal care items.

• Self-Care & Wellness Items – Makeup, skincare, and other personal care products may be available as donations allow.

• Support for Women in Crisis – We work with community partners to connect women with additional resources for health, housing, and personal development. This initiative aims to help women maintain dignity and confidence while addressing essential needs.

Growing Minds Kids Food Bags- Available for children under the age of 11 . Parents or Legal guardians must

bring a birth certificate once to register their child's age in our system .

Baby Essentials Program- Helps parents and caregivers by providing essential supplies for infants and toddlers once a month.

This program offers:

• Baby Food & Formula – Available as donations allow, ensuring infants receive proper nutrition.

• Diapers & Wipes – Distributed based on availability to support families in need.

• Other Infant Care Items – May include baby hygiene products, bottles, and clothing as resources permit.

Indigent Program -Provides essential assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness or extreme hardship. This program offers:

• Ready-to-Eat Food – Available twice a month, ensuring immediate nourishment for those without access to cooking facilities.

• Hygiene Bags – Distributed once a month, including essential personal care items to support health and dignity.

This program is designed to offer relief and essential support to those in need. If you or someone you know could benefit from this assistance, please visit us during our scheduled distribution days.

No Home Deliveries -We currently do not offer deliveries , but families are welcome to pick up assistance on-site.
